I only know the mouse & keyboard inputs on the gamepad / joystick simulate variant, ie games that can only be controlled with mouse & keyboard inputs, also with a "connected" gamepad, or joystick in which the keyboard or mouse can be played Commands are placed on the controller.

With xpadder (7.99 euro e.g. With PayPal) you can link the buttons & axes with key inputs, or also the analog or digital sticks of a gamepad, or joysticks with the mouse buttons or axes, and also adjust the sensitivity.
There's also a dead zone setting for the joystick axes.
Of all the programs that I have tested in the past few years, e.g. "JoyToKey" is in my personal opinion xpadder the best, and in its functions also the most extensive program, if, like me, I have poor fine motor skills, can't play games "fluently" with mouse & keyboard, and is dependent on other solutions.
The only disadvantage that xpadder has is that you first have to download a suitable picture of your controller from the Internet, and "save" it in the 512x256 format as a Windows BMP to import it into xpadder so that you can then use the various buttons, and position axes on the image to create a layout of the controller.
Where I have now tested it does not work as I need it, you may know a program that can simulate a Ps4 dual shock that can be virtually assigned with keys. Quasi when I go to my Windows 10 system when I enter devices and because a dual shock controller is displayed.
