I accidentally connected my Xbox one controller to a power supply… Since then it has stopped working… Can you still save it? The controller was close to the power supply for 20 seconds
If the large power supply really only had 5 volts, it shouldn't have done anything, even if it had had 200 amps.
the 2 amp is only what the power supply gives maximum. The controller usually limits the charging current on its own.
check again if the plugs are still ok and check the cable.

PS: did he start to stink or something when he was on the other power supply?
Why should it be broken when connected to 5V? Do you know Ohm's law. A current depends on the resistance of the consumer and the voltage. If the voltage and the resistance are the same, it only draws 450 mA, even if the power supply can do 10000 mA.
Was the power supply the right way round?
No he didn't stink
It was just a fast charge power supply can't do so much there's 9v 1.68 A and once 5v 2 A
There we have it already… Your fast charge power supply just said it should be at full throttle and chase 9 volts. That probably knocked something inside the controller. With a little luck you can find out something and fix it. Otherwise I unfortunately see black.
