Which is the more consistent of the two female characters, Lightning, meaning Claire Farron from Final Fantasy 13 or Samus Aran from the Metroid series?

I have been asking myself a lot lately which one is the more consistent character of both.

At Lightning (Claire Farron) I find that you can learn a lot more about her, and above all that she really sees and that she is not hidden under a suit. Also that it has been released for several platforms (Playstation and PC) and the chance of a remake is very high, provided that it is handled exactly as it was with Final Fantasy 7 and the current remake of it. Ultimately, however, it is only a part, despite the award and protagonist in 3 games, in the series and I have not really found meaningful information that explicitly describes Lightning's future on the console and the PC.

With Samus, of course, speaks for the fact that she is the undisputed protagonist of almost all Metroid games, that she was the first female video game character.

The background about Samus is somehow in the background, at least it looks like that, although the game "Other M" was only about that and Samus was even playable in the Zero Suit (this also in Zero Mission and just in Smash Bros Brawl and Ultimate ), but that's it, so to speak, but it may also be that I can't really judge it, because there are sometimes no Metroid games officially for the PC, they are only playable on the Nintendo consoles, which makes them less accessible represents.

However, what I'm still wondering is why so few titles from this series were published in 1986, even though they sold so well, just this hype about a simple, official trailer lettering with the words "Metroid Prime 4 "

Did I miss anything at my points? Are there still missing factors that are relevant to how consistent video game characters are? And which of the two is more stable?

Oh… Yes, why the two? Well I think they are very nice, Claire Farron in the many rendering sequences and Samus in the rendering sequences from Other M, even if they are not as common as in Final Fantasy 13.

I also think that this would be more of a question for a specialized forum, but maybe I'll get some answers.

Thank you very much for reading my rather complicated, nerdy question.

I would not hope for a remake. Ff13 was not an outstanding game in the Final Fantasy series

in addition, the story in parts 2 and 3 became more and more absurd

not to forget that part 3 came with extreme (real) time pressure as a story
