Hmm, then a 3D screen would be easier.

Something like that won't come, more like a hollogram that Mario has in the room.
and the world is shown in the room and on the wall, so the wall would look like this if it just goes in there.
and then you can walk there with Mario, Mario himself of course stays in the room but the world moves and comes closer, creating the illusion that you are moving through the room.
Besides Mario, the piece of the map would also have to be displayed as a Hollogram that is within reach.

Maybe, but unlikely. If the thing is so big that you climb in there, hardly anyone will buy it. Accordingly, it will be expensive as exotic.

I think it could come as a nice trade fair idea or something, but it hardly or not really catches on.
