I know a somewhat silly question, but since I always bought my games after the release, I wanted to ask where there are games to buy on the release day? (Media Markt, Saturn, GameStop) Because I really want to buy Animal Crossing New Horizons on March 20th. I could also download the game from the Nintendo E-Shop but I would rather have it in my hand. I'm also afraid that it might even be sold out

You buy games on the release day like games that do not have their release day, in Media Markt, Saturn, Expert etc.
Often there's a possibility that you can pre-order. In the case of very popular games, it may be that the game is sold out on the release day and then new deliveries have to be awaited.
So for me the games are always on the release day at Mediamarkt or Saturn. I think that in a game like Acnh there are generally everywhere, and not a few of them. I'm really looking forward to the game myself.
Never buy games in a store. You can get them much cheaper on the Internet. See instant gaming. Eg. Shop: 60 euro instantgaming: 15 euro.
