I have some Super Nintendo games. Even if I don't play with it very often now, because there are simply "better" alternatives nowadays, I think it's nice to have games that are older than you are. But then I just wanted to know how expensive some games are out of curiosity of which could be ^^. Also so that I know how careful I should be when "playing".

So what is really valuable is not there now, but the Zelda and Mario games are always comparatively expensive when they are in the original packaging and in good condition

mu

Take a look on eBay. Then you know how much you can expect for it. But maybe wait a few more years because then they could be very valuable. Are still in the original packaging

ca

A certain super mario in original packaging was sold for 1 million…

So I wouldn't unpack such treasures but store them properly. And then make money when it is appropriate.

although I can understand if you keep it out of nostalgia.

but play with it… I would leave it in your place.

el

Zelda is worth up to 7k.

ja

Yes, I think it's a little too late for that too, they haven't never been unpacked yet. But in any case good to very good condition

Lo

Even if there are a few rare or sought-after titles among them, the average will practically be around 20-30 euro per title.

Such oldies only have real value in three cases:

It is a special edition (first, faulty production series, special module color, etc.)
The game continues to generate a high level of demand and thus ensures an above-average price
The game is in the original packaging and this is sealed unopened.

Case 1 and 2 can be sold to enthusiasts and you can probably bet on 30-50 euro selling price. In practice, old relics only really stand out in terms of price if they are effectively virgin.

ca

Yes ne mio it doesn't have to be.

But if you would end up getting 10,000 for your collection, which I don't think is so unlikely, then it is worth closing your games properly and not wearing them out

ja

Thank you very much. Had to smile slightly at the answer.

Let's see what happens then and whether I should really sell it at some point. I'll get back to you in a decade.

I have a weakness for old games and even knew the prices of most of them by heart.
