I decided to sell my Nintendo Switch because I no longer use it. Others would probably enjoy it more.
Now the following problem has arisen:
I bought the game "Animal Crossing New Horizon", which was published this year, as a download code from a website, because the shops closed on the day of publication thanks to Corona. Of course I downloaded it to my Nintendo Account in the eShop and am now wondering how I should sell it?
Handing over my Nintendo Account is, I don't think, a solution because of personal data… Is there a solution how I could sell the game or is that no longer possible? It would be a real shame if not, because in itself it is a great game which would be completely wasted.
The games are linked to your account. Theoretically you can give away your account and change your email to his email beforehand. But I don't know whether this is allowed. And I don't know whether you can change all the data. But you can't really ask much for the game either. 15 Maybe I would say. Maybe even 20. For 40 he can set up a new account and buy it himself.
Just give the Switch away without the game
You can change your email and password, but some data can't be changed. The game is linked to your account!
