I would like to have a Nintendo Switch. Since I do not feel like saving, but I do not have enough money for the console, I'm thinking of either selling my iPhone 8 Plus or swapping it for the switch. I still have a Samsung Galaxy A5 2016. I find iPhone better, of course, but I want to have this console. What do you think? Would you do that?

I would not recommend that because you can still get a good 600-700 euro for an iPhone 8 Plus at best. But that is not necessarily the case. Apart from that, 300 euro for the console are not the world now. And saving should not be the problem.
If you have saved it together, you are much happier than giving up something that you like.
