I have this problem.
I bought the Nintendo switch pack with a ring fit adventure download code and a Nintendo Switch.
My father also has the game at home and you can add multiple users to him, but if I try the game at home, it just says that you can't add more users, but no reason.
My question is why is that and what do I have to do so that multiple users can play?

well with download games it is so that although it is possible to link one account with several switches, a distinction is made here between main console and next to consoles, the main console has full access to the game, and all profiles on this switch can do that play, only the profile to which the game is linked in the shop can play on the next console, and the game is interrupted when the main console tries to play.
That's right, but my problem is that I can't add multiple users to the game itself. This is actually a way for more people to play the game with different levels of difficulty.
It seems to me that you are currently on the next console, I would therefore assume that only the linked account can play
Thanks for the hint I changed the console to the main console and now it works. I didn't even know that something like that was possible.
