Hear better steps in War Zone?

In CoD War Zone on Ps4, hear the steps of other players totally bad. Play with a Steelseries Artis 7 headset. Does anyone have any tips for me on how I can adjust the game or the headset differently to hear steps better? Sometimes I don't even notice when someone is right behind me. Use the same headset settings as in Rainbow, but where I can hear everything super.
