Suddenly PS plus needed for a secondary account?

I have set up a new PS4 account. A secondary account.

I have PS + on the primary account and for the first 2 days this subscription also seemed to work on the secondary account. I played with other people online. Suddenly I'm supposed to subscribe to ps +, although the subscription on the primary account is still running for a long time.

Why did it work first and now suddenly no longer? What did I miss?
