PS5 gamertag not available?

I want to change my gamertag. I tried this on my mobile phone, but my MasterCard has expired. You can't re-insert because playstation.com SUCKS!

Well, on the PS5, suddenly the gamertag you want is not available. But it is directly the check on playstation.com.

What's going on there?! Does anyone know this "bug"?

Perhaps your gamertag was never available and "playstation.com" is incorrect.
