A long time ago I got the Playstation VR glasses with Move Motion Controller. Now the question is whether I should sell it, because I don't play it that often anymore anyway and I want to get a PC too. Since I can sell this used for about 200 euro, I'm thinking of doing that too. With the money I can get a mainboard, for example. Since I already have a CPU, I could maybe upgrade my current PC with it and use it as long as I don't have a new PC. I could sell the CPU and mainboard from the current PC. I recently bought a Ryzen CPU. The current one is Intel and not amd. I will also get VR glasses on my PC later.
But I still have one question: Does the CPU no longer work as well maybe if it was already in another PC?
As for the CPU: it doesn't wear out, don't worry.
But if you want to switch to VR on the PC, you may need a whole bunch of power. I'm traveling with an Oculus Rift S. That is driven solely by the graphics card of the PC. For me that's a Geforce RTX 2080 super and I wouldn't want a smaller one either. Especially when it comes to things like Half Life Alyx.
But there are also VR sets that bring their own hardware… There's a lot going on at the moment and I don't know whether I would convert my entire VR set to another platform… Basically, of course, I'm always in favor of a PC and against a console but I think that's normal because I'm just a PC type ^^
So do you think it's worth it? I thought psvr would be something like on the PC. But you have three good games and that's it.
Look at the stuff of this guy on https://www.youtube.com/...xhz63Ti3KQ
I think it's totally boring but the videos really helped me with the VR decision back then.
