I was considering buying some Ps3 Move Motion Controllers to play with at Ps4 Just Dance 2020, first of all is that possible? And if so how?
I just want it for Just Dance and nothing else, not VR or PS Cam. And can I use it without the camera? If someone knows the answers, please answer very detailed, as you can see I have no idea about all this
(I'm aware that the Ps3 Move MC have a smaller battery and a different charging port than the Ps4. But since I only want to use them for ONE game, I don't want to spend so much.)
So, they are compatible with the PS4. There are also newer versions.
Charging is not a problem as you can also charge it with a mobile phone charging cable. I never charged them and the normal controllers directly on the console.
But believe the camera is needed. Only this recognizes the light signals from the motion controller.

Yes, the cam for the PS3 is for Motion, the cam for PS4 for VR, among others.
To use the PS3's motion controller on the PS4, I think you can only use the PS3 cam.
But I'm not 100% sure. I wanted to use my motion controller on the PS4 myself, but the controller's batteries were broken after years of inactivity. Therefore I could not continue testing.
