I ordered Apple EarPods from Saturn and when I want to talk at the ps4 party there's only a beep. What could that be?

I don't think you understood my problem. The headphones are connected to the controller, but when I speak my colleague only hears a beep.

They are basically intended for the iPhone (Apple) and not for any gamebox or X cell phone.
