Will the PS5 get FreeSync or something like that? Saw it will have VRR (HDMI 2.1)!
Since my monitor "only" has HDMI 2.0 but also no FreeSync, it makes no difference if you need an Hdmi 2.1 to avoid tearing.
Or is it better to get a FreeSync monitor?
Monitor: 144Hz, Wqhd. (Hz can be set: 60, 120, 144)
The Ps5 and the Xbox Series X have Heide Freesync support because they have an AMD APU and not like many people think an Nvidia graphics card and an AMD CPU.
What kind of a monitor do you have?
Hdmi 2.1 brings you nothing at all on the PS5

Doesn't want to see distorted images because this monitor doesn't have FreeSync.
Hm that's a shame.
Does the monitor support G-Sync?
Because Freesync also works on G-Sync monitors
No, unfortunately not.
Then you will have to buy a new monitor to use Freesync.
I have the monitor Samsung U28E590D which has 4K 60 Hz and FreeSync. I will also get the PS5 and have currently closed the PS4 Pro on this monitor.
I was considering buying a TV with 4K and HDMI 2.1 (for 4K with 120 Hz) in order to be ideally prepared for the next generation. I would like to have the possibility to have 120 Hz in some games and 4K in others. I also have a lot more relaxed playing on the big TV from my bed instead of at my desk.
I would want to keep my pro too.
But what would you advise me to do? Don't have that much idea
