Can you play cod warzone without a disc if you have downloaded it from the disc?

I bought cod modern warfare as a cd. I have lent the game to my little brother and now I want to play the cod warzone. My ps4 shows me that I can only play it on a disc. I just wanted to download warzone and that doesn't work either. Is there a way to just play warzone? Or do I have to delete part of cod modern warfare?

So if you have to delete MW completely and then just download WarZone again. Otherwise you always need a CD if you have installed the game with CD.
