Dead by daylight killer slows down?

Well, with dbd on the ps4, my killer (leatherface) always slows down when I'm watching. A pursuit is therefore impossible because the survivors are faster than me. I do not know why, but I only have it with him. Apart from that, it's meanwhile also with the survivors where it is not so fatal because I can walk straight ahead and look elsewhere. Need help
