And a colleague bought VR glasses for his PC a few weeks ago.
A few years ago I tried a PS4 VR in MediaMarkt and it was extremely flashed.
Unfortunately, my PC wasn't that good at the time and, to be honest, I didn't really have that much money to buy a new PC and then a pair of Vr glasses.
However, now I have a gaming PC, Rtx 2070, Amd Ryzen 7 2700X, 16Gb Ram so I should get there with that.
Now I've asked around a bit and have come to the conclusion that the Rift S is the one I would get, because of the integrated sensors etc.
I also have a Logitech G29 with manual transmission so it would probably be really cool to play that with Vr.
Now the question is, is it worth buying VR glasses, what experiences do watches have with them?
Have you regretted the purchase or which one do you have?
Do you still gamble with it and if so, which games would you recommend?
It is definitely worth it
Buying a Rift S now would be unwise from my point of view. I've had a Rift S for around 1.5 years and am pretty happy with the headset myself. But if I were to buy a new one today, I would definitely get a Quest 2 with Oculus Link.
For what reason the Quest 2?
What I've seen so far, the Quest 2 was the best in all-round, but for pure PC gaming, the Rift S is better or not?
Pure PC VR, the Rift S is really still the best product from Oculus. With Oculus Link, Quest 2 comes very close.
But don't underestimate the standalone possibilities of the quest. Even if you mostly want to use it with your PC, the ability to easily use the headset anywhere should not be underestimated.
Best all-round HMD is the index.
If you mainly only play Sims then I would use the Reverb G2.
Currently the best picture at an acceptable price.
It always depends on the needs. If the HMD corresponds to these, the immersion increases a little more.
Here you can read a little what suits you best.

Only that the index is very expensive and only for pc vr gaming
The best all-round package does not mean the cheapest but the best of all, or 2 best, in the individual categories (comfort, FoV, controller, tracking, image, sound). The Quest2 does not have a better picture (even if it is only minimal and the Mura stands out the most) here the Reverb G2 would have an advantage, we do not need to start tracking (LHT is best and whoever needs accuracy can't do anything with Inside / Out) , FoV is smaller than with the Reverb G2, comfort also has to be adjusted with a different strap, sound… You don't need to say anything.
Pc VR gaming still has an advantage when it comes to the picture. In the short or long term, this will only change minimally through even better processing of the data, as great progress has been made over the last 5 years.
