My ps4 controller Flashes red a few times and it goes off again and when I plug it into the USB cable, the same thing goes back when I try to turn it on
Maybe a system bug. So that the software has hung up and then no longer knows what to do when a button is pressed. I already had it with my Buwizz from Lego. It is best to just take out the batteries so that the controller has no more electricity. Then put the batteries back in and it should work again. If you have a built-in battery, you have to wait until the power goes out, then charge and you're done. Actually works like restarting a cell phone.
I've had this a couple of times… I think it means that your controller has run out of power and, even with power, doesn't have the residual power needed to play with the cable… Wait a few minutes while it is being charged on the USB and try it it again… It worked for me
