I used Steelseries Siberia v2 as a computer headphone this year. Everything worked great. Now they broke today (fell to the ground, broken).
I ordered new headphones and as a transitional headphone I wanted to use my Ps4 Razer Electra v2. I plug 'em in and on Youtube (Pietsmiet video) (who becomes millionaire)) I heard the music quietly but no voices. The same problem with my brother's Cloud HyperX headphones. However, both headphones work with him easily.
In the Siberia v2 was also a part of where I plug the Siberia and on this part I can adjust the volume (the part goes into PC) Now I have the Electra infected via this part of my headphones and now it works. The Siberia without the volume part worked, but with poorer quality.
(I connected all these headphones to the front of my computer via 3.5mm jack)
Can someone tell me why that is? That the headphones on MY Pc will not work without this Siberia part?
Edit: Without The Siberia part, songs on the Razer headphone sound mega scratchy and disgusting and voices also do not come through so well
I had something like that. Since the mass on the headphone plug was not in order. Then you almost hear only the difference between right and left, and because the voice is usually transmitted right and left, you do not hear them then.
That means the plug is broken or something?
What could I do now? Do I have to change this?

Have just tested and if I connect my headphones directly and then make this stereo test on windows, I hear everything on both shells, although only left and then right comes
I think I've figured out why. My headphones WITHOUT microphone work without the Siberia part without problems. The MIT microphone cause stress. Do not know why, my newly ordered also have no microphone, let's see if they will work.
