Buy Ps Plus without a credit card but with PSN credit?

I got a 10 euro PS 4 credit card (the blue one) and redeemed everything perfectly. Now I have 10 euro on the Ps4. But the problem is that I want to get Ps Plus and that only for a month (I think it costs: 8.99 euro) When I go to buy I should also connect a credit card or PayPal. Did I do something wrong. Or should I get a PS Plus card (yellow)? Will it then work without a credit card?
