How do you think Mixer.com has to close?

I just heard from my favorite streamer on Mixer that the platform is closing and luckily she is switching to Twitch (and not on Facebook phew…) How do you like that? (Almost everyone has already thought that it will be nothing)

Ca

Since I do not even know this site, I do not care about the site closure because I mostly use either YouTube or Twitch.

I think it's great because the management level is apparently quite racist and e.g. Made statements like that the streamers are their slaves and the like.

Since I've never heard of it, I don't really care. If a sack of rice falls over in China, I don't care either.

Me

I don't care, I just watch YouTube, like most probably.

Mixer is pretty well known, but until IG or YT goes bankrupt, I don't really care what happens to social media and streaming platforms

Sl

I've never been so enthusiastic about this streaming muck, I just don't really understand the point of watching other gamers when I can do it myself. I know Twitch, but I've never looked at anything there.

Me

Competition stimulates business.

Of course, this is a disadvantage for the individual streamers. A Twitch is just one of many and has fewer arguments to negotiate better terms and this also means that Twitch can continue to do what they want and enforce their rules arbitrarily (some are treated differently for the same rule violations)).

On the other hand, I don't believe in the division of such providers, especially in the VoD area. Netflix, Prime, Disney +, etc… If there were a provider who had almost everything in their program, many would be more motivated to pay for content instead of using media piracy…

I don't like Zock lifestreams either… I might look at some afterwards because I use them as a complete solution of the game, but not otherwise
