Would like to know from you, if you could use o2 free home as a replacement for a DSL Internet connection? It is indeed promised 1 MBit per second and you have at o2 free M boost even monthly 20gb LTE in addition.
I mainly only watch YouTube videos and livestreams for example. Twitch.
I would synonymous HD quality sufficient.
I need 20GB in four days
I do not reach 100GB, I'm at 1&1 100GB always have to buy more.
What do you pay approximately per month?
If you make a new contract now 9, 99 euro in poorly developed area + 5 makes € 15
After a year, it will be more expensive.

I'm thinking about whether I would rather make a contract with 1 and 1 for 29.99 euro including samsung s8 as a present. Or better o2 free contract for 35 euro but with samsung s9 plus. What would be your advice?
Far too little Internet, with mobile phone is indeed a mobile contract.
Yes you are right but you have 20gb data volume and thereafter 1mbit per second
I can't imagine.
Nowadays you get thrown just beginner rates.
A 20Gb LTE contract at 02 (which I currently have unfortunately still) costs much more than a cheap DSL contract.
I would rather look for a 10 or 16mbit tariff for 9.99 euro. Something like that happens regularly everywhere.
1 MBit / s is never enough for YouTube. You will always and always have dropouts (loading symbol). So 10 seconds charging icon, 1 second watch, 10 seconds charging icon and 1 second watch, … Etc.
A 90 minute movie duration then 990 minutes to the end. So for a 1.5 hour movie you need 16.5 hours to finish it off.
No 100 gb LTE volume will help you if the volume only dribbles at 1 MBit / s.
