Age rating for games on Twitch?

I have the problem that I don't know exactly whether something is forbidden or allowed.

I would like to stream a game on Twitch with USK16 / Pedagogical 18, but I'm not quite 16 yet.

As far as I know, the USK is an entertainment software self-control and therefore it does not bother anyone whether you are not quite that age, because it is almost an age suggestion.

A parenting guide on Twitch said something like:

"Twitch allows registration from 13 years of age, provided that parents supervise the use of the platform. However, there's no check to ensure that the age specified at registration is correct."

Or

"Your child can come across violent, frightening and sexualised content because there are no age specifications for games. For this reason, the youth protection department has classified the platform as unsuitable for children and adolescents."

But does that mean for sure that you can play a game before you reach the age without blocking your account? Or does that just mean that no USK is given on Twitch?

I would be happy if someone is familiar with the Twitch guidelines and can safely answer the question.

USK yes, an entertainment software self-control and therefore it does not matter if you are not quite that age, because it is almost an age suggestion.

It's not quite as simple as you describe it here.

Your parents are the only ones who can let you know whether or not you can play a game that is not recommended for your age.

Nobody else is allowed to give you access.

Unfortunately, I don't know how it is now with the online recordings for games. I can't tell you whether this legal rule only applies to gaming itself or also to watching.

After all, the age of certain films must also be shown on TV.

I have no idea whether you can somehow set the recommended age for your project. You have to know that yourself. (You may also have to look more closely on the Internet to see if you get exact answers so that you are on the safe side in the end.
