Why is my Discord broadcast lagging?

You need nitro. The normal transmission is very bad.
Maybe your input sensitivity is too high?
I have nitro and it doesn't lag with friends

So on the computer it works like this:
Bottom left on User Settngs (the gear next to Mute and Deaf)
Then left on Voice and Video. Then scroll down to input sensitivity. And then I would switch on automatically detect input sensitivity
And what does it have to do with screen sharing?
Ok, I misunderstood that, but your question does not explicitly indicate that the screen transmission is meant. I have now assumed audio transmission.
