Mixer.com or Twitch 2020?

I have a question about where to stream as a "beginner". (I've been streaming sometimes since March 2019). I have an Xbox and Nintendo Switch. So first play Xbox until I have a capture card. Youtube is out because you over which Xbox can't stream (streams can be cut into videos)

1.Mixer.com

Benefits:
Very small platform
You can get viewers
App is already on the Xbox
Stream almost without delay
Disadvantage:
A bit poor quality of the streams than with Twitch
Not so famous

2.Twitch.tv

Benefits:
Very famous
A bit better quality than blenders
Twitch Prime

Disadvantage:
A lot of competition
You have to download the app on Xbox
You're tied to Twitch

Do you still have a few advantages and disadvantages for the platforms?

Re

I don't know where your Pro & Con's come from, but they are either very subjective & wrong or just wrong.

Twitch is a great platform, right. There are a lot of people there, both viewers and streamers (competition). So that means: To stand out from the crowd is almost impossible until it takes a long time.

As far as quality and delay are concerned, the cut on mixers is 1-3 seconds. But it's no different on Twitch. There are usually 2-5 seconds on average. It used to be 20-30 seconds (!).

The quality is almost the same on both platforms. In my subjective opinion, however, the picture is more "beautiful" on a mixer than on Twitch. But the quality does not primarily have anything to do with the platform, but also much more with the settings of the streamer, which is wrong with many anyway or you can get more out of it with the same or little additional effort.

And where do you want to be tied to Twitch? I do not know.
This is only relevant as a Twitch partner & applies. Otherwise: NO! You are not.

However, Mixer has a future & as long as you don't help to become part of the community, the growth will unfortunately only increase slowly.

For everything else there's Restream.io
