Evening all
Strangely enough, since today I can neither play Forza Horizon 3/4 nor Halo mcc online on my PC. That means that I can go to the matchmaking in Halo, but there I can wait 15 minutes in the most frequently visited lobby, which was not the case yesterday. At Horizon, after a 10-minute lobby search, the message comes up that the DNS is incorrect.
I was assured by troubleshooting the settings that everything was fine. I can also play CS: GO, State of Decay 2 etc. Online without any problems.
Why is that now?
I also tried it on my Xbox One, everything works fine.
I heard the Teredo filter is often the cause, but I can't really see it in the router settings.
What kind of router do you have?
If it is a FritzBox, simply activate the extended view and deactivate the Teredo filter. This should enable FH to use online services again.
That's it, that it is a Vodafone router, not an Easybox either…
don't think it's because it works on Xbox
