Too old modem / router?

Moin, I have a Fritzbox 6340 and would like to connect my Xbox one with NAT or set up the port. So far I can set it up, but it doesn't work on Xbox. Since I have browsed a lot on YouTube, I know that some functions are missing on my Fritzbox page…
Is that because of the old router and therefore I have to buy a new one, or am I too stupid? Best wishes and best health.
