Cracked XBOX Classic?

I bought an XBOX but it seems to be cracked. The XBOX doesn't play any games and the menu looks like this (see picture).

Can I turn the XBOX back into a normal one, if so how?

That will have been done with a modchip. A small chip is specially soldered to the motherboard. You can open the xBox and carefully loosen this chip (you will immediately notice it) with the soldering iron (without boiling the board or other connections!) Then everything should be okay, but see if the hack doesn't work after all, because that has advantages in many ways, such as the irrelevance of the country code or the use of legal private copies.

No, unfortunately not. There were dozens of modchips back then. The only option is to properly remove it.

There are already games on the XBOX that go without a CD. Could you maybe send me a link from a video or explain yourself how to "download" games?

This is usually done using USB sticks and CD-Rs. Caution: Downloading, distributing and copying games to a large extent counts as a copyright infringement! However, if you have old game collections, you can make backups of them, which should then be recognized by this xBox (which normally would not be the case). And even if the games are 20 years old, they are still protected material. Ask colleagues or look for a game box on ebay. Correctly stored, they are still in perfect condition today.

If you have inserted a game you can also simply press "Play Game".

Then comes the loading screen and it gets stuck
