I got a new steering wheel for Christmas yesterday and it was the Logitech G290 (with gear shift). Last night I set up and tested the steering wheel. Everything worked great. This afternoon I also played Farming Simulator 19 with the steering wheel again. Everything worked. Then I played a round of Valorant and after that I wanted to play the farming simulator again, but the steering wheel didn't react any more. Even after switching the PC on and off, the steering wheel did not work. I put all the cables out and back in again, unfortunately again in vain. The battery should actually still be full. I also plugged the USB cable into another USB port on the PC, but it didn't use it either. So again to summarize: The steering wheel flashes on the dot above the Xbox logo. Since it flashes there, it no longer calibrates itself when the PC is started and is no longer recognized by the PC, although it is connected DIRECTly to the PC with the USB cable.
Anyone who has suggestions for help can post them!
I would bring the device back, had the problem too. And maybe contact support.
Hope I could help.
First of all thanks for the quick reply.
I was really close to sending it back, but then I hooked up the steering wheel to my brother's Xbox ones. It wouldn't be recognized on the Xbox either, but when I plugged it back into the PC, the PC recognized the steering wheel. All I had to do was update the Logitech Gaming Software and it was ready for use again. Let's see how long it lasts this time.
No problem
Also have several Logitech products and I have to say, I like the quality and design of the products. And I can only recommend it and if something is broken or defective, then replace it without hesitation!
