Xbox Gamerscore visibly illogical?

I adjusted the settings a little in the privacy settings on my Xbox profile. For example, nobody can see the successes and my online status. Now my question is, if nobody sees the successes, you can very probably still see my gamerscore. But then isn't it illogical to add such an attitude? When someone sees the gamerscore and pays attention to whether it changes, you automatically know that success is earned.

That means the online and achievement settings are superfluous as the player has to be online in order to earn achievements. How do you see it?

Why useless?

Of course, others will know if they see your profile with increasing gamerscore or even you online in a game that you are online.

However, the meaning is different.

On the one hand, nobody can see that you are online only from your profile. So nobody should annoy you with messages or invitations.

And the invisible successes serve to ensure that nobody can compete with you in a virtual tail comparison in a game.

Whether you find this useful is an open question because nobody forces you to use these options.

Alternatively, you just always play offline then you actually are and do not get any successes.

Thanks for the detailed answer.

Brief inquiry: If I generally set the Xbox offline in the settings, I will not be credited with any successes. Okay, but if I want to watch Netflix and put the Xbox back into online mode, the successes will certainly still be credited to me afterwards, right?

Ma

Correctly identified.

Alternatively, you can watch Netflix on your Smart TV.
