Xbox or ps4 which is better (text)?

So my friend's birthday soon. I heard from one of his friends that he wanted an Xbox or a PS4. I would like to give it to him. Unfortunately I don't know anything about it (I'm a girl I've never gambled haha) and I don't know what the differences are or what is better.

You should know which platform his friends are playing on and buy accordingly.

My opinion is: The (latest) XBOX performs better; the (newest) PS4 has a better interface and is generally "friendlier". I would always stay with Sony (PS4) because my friends play there. In addition, there are generally more players on the PS4, but you will probably not run out of players on the XBOX.

In my opinion, the exclusive titles are clearly better on the PS4.

Technically, the XBox One X is the strongest

With the right TV it's really great!

Otherwise it depends on what kind of games it stands for (most of it is the same anyway, only nicer on the XBox)
