Why in the world has the production of the PS5 and Xbox Series game consoles been put on the ice so that they are still sold out to this day?

I don't understand what they are actually allowing themselves, are they doing it on purpose so that the hype lasts for longer and ultimately more game consoles will go over the counter in the long term? Or what is that supposed to mean, either do your business sensibly and produce a large number of them and then put them on the market or not at all, this is a million-dollar corporation but doesn't even manage to produce a large number of these devices, I find that kind of completely ridiculous… Me My tomato in a tin by Heinz is also produced a million times a day, that's not just a matter of fact.

Have you ever looked at the delivery times for small electronic parts and the raw material prices? The copper surcharge for cables alone is skyrocketing. TE can't deliver, they no longer have any raw materials. The warehouses are empty. And when production will start again is written in the stars. We have suppliers who will confirm next December as a precaution.

The packaging industry is also slowly reaching its limits.

In all honesty: Questions that are so simple and meaningless can really get me upset! On which planet do you live or is everything around you completely indifferent, so that you complain about consoles?

The entire industry currently has a delivery time of up to 5 months for goods in stock due to a lack of electronic components. There's currently a lack of raw materials even for cable production.

In Asia there was no rainy season last year, which is why there's already a lack of water and that is what is needed for chip production. If the rainy season fails again this year, we will have a massive problem in all areas next year at the latest… And game consoles will be the last thing we will give priority to in production.

Should you not have noticed: Since Corona and the days of home office and home schooling, a massive number of computers have been required… And for your understanding: They don't grow on trees but are assembled - with components. Why do you think that such devices now also have delivery times that were previously unknown? The production facilities are one thing, but even if they were there, the parts are missing. And then, in my opinion, the game consoles can come up to the rear because there are really more important things at the moment!
