Following problem:
I had to uninstall Minecraft (for reasons not worth mentioning here) and was just about to download it again. The problem is now that I only get the XBox version? I don't even have an XBox. I downloaded it earlier from the Microsoft Store where it said 'for Windows 10'. When I opened it, the game wanted me to log into my XBox account.
When I try to download the game from the official Minecraft site and click on the Java Edition, this weird creeper comes up with 'that shouldn't have happened' because the site I want to be on doesn't exist. If I choose the other version, it's XBox again…
Can someone help me please? I'm desperate here right now.

The Minecraft from the Microsoft Store is the Bedrock Edition, which requires you to log in with an XBOX Live account. The official site works for me. Have you signed up for Minecraft.net?
