Play Xbox Game Pass for free?

I bought xbox game pass for 1 month. And credit it with my cell phone. With some games it says that there's a discount. But you can still download it for free. If you have downloaded the games, will the games stay after the xbox game pass subscription has ended or after I cancel it? So can I continue playing these games afterwards? And it's not a trick where you deduct from my credit, right?

The games remain on the hard drive after the subscription, but are logically no longer playable. If you cancel your subscription before it expires, you will still have access to the games as long as the subscription is over. And no there are no tricks, unless someone shared their profile with you, then the person must also have a game pass.
