I'm mainly a pc gamer. Since the XBox Game Pass has been available for PC, I've been thinking about whether it might be worthwhile for me, especially because the library contains a lot that interests me.
However, despite clicking through the Microsoft pages, I still have a few questions. Maybe someone is already using the game pass and can help me.
Again briefly the overview of the three variants that you do not have to search for them.
Now my questions:
I don't have an XBox. Can I still play XBox exclusive titles on the PC with the version for PC or do I need Ultimate?
If I become a subscriber and want to play a game from the subscription library, it will be downloaded and installed on my hard disk or only streamed (in other words: do I have stutters / crashes if I have connection problems?)
From November there's a deal with EA regarding the Game Pass that will virtually integrate their subscription service. Here I'm primarily concerned with the console-exclusive NHL for years. Will this be included in the PC version or only be playable on the console or on the PC with Ultimate?
What has not appeared on the PC, you can't play directly on the PC either.
The games are installed locally.
The game wasn't released for the PC, so you can't play it directly on the PC either.
PS: Ultimate wouldn't do you any good either.
And with this? https://www.xbox.com/...oud-gaming That is if I understand correctly with Ultimate it would be streamed, but the barrier PC or mobile device and console is torn down. Or is that more wishful thinking than reality?
It's only for Android devices. How should that help you on the PC?
Okay… My television is Android, pairing an XBox controller via Bluetooth works (I tried it). Would I get behind NHL like this without an XBox and with Ultimate?
No, NHL is not on the list.

It will be added in November via the integration of EAPlay, see https://www.xbox.com/...es/ea-play
Beta xCloud and Gamepass for the XBox are not the same game list.
Does that mean, despite EAPlay in the Game Pass, NHL 20 can only be played on console for subscribers to the console or ultimate variant?
As of today, yes that means it.
Okay, thanks for the patient advice. Nice day!
Maybe something else will come of Project Atlas.

You can play Xbox Exclusive titles without an Xbox console, but these are limited. (This means that not all exclusive titles from Microsoft are available on the PC, e.g. Halo 5)

You install that on your hard drive, of course.
What comes from the cloud is just your progress.
In the future it will not be possible to stream games on the PC via the cloud.
As of today (25.10) only Android smartphones and tablets can be used for this, in the future this service will also be available for Xbox consoles and Windows PCs.

Nobody can tell you that yet.
To do this, however, you would probably need an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription
