Upgrade Xbox one to Xbox one X?

I have in mind to buy an Xbox one X. How's that with the transfer of games / storage?

Are there things I should know?

Ge

I'm not aware of any function to transfer games from one Xbox ONE to the other.

And even if, the USB interface would be the only way without the XBOX unscrew. And the USB port is really slow.

Sure you mean transfer and not "sharing"?

Maybe, I have no experience or know-how. I just hate to lose all my memory.

Not just replace the hard drive?

Ge

The memory locations / progress are usually stored in the cloud. You should not be afraid of that.

Once you've purchased the games, you can install them on the new Xbox as normal after you've logged in.

The Sharing feature is only for family & friends to share and play games without buying them multiple times.

I would not necessarily recommend to everyone. The warranty is lost as soon as a seal on the Xbox is damaged. And if when checking the hard disk number does not match the Xbox, the Xbox is also no longer touched.

If you have been online with your Xbox account and console before, all scores are stored in the cloud. Likewise online purchases or the necessary licenses.

If you sign up with the same account on a different console all scores will be synchronized. You can also download your purchases again.

Only games need to be reinstalled.

Ma

Another addendum: If you use an external hard drive as in my case, since the internal memory but quite low, you must at least not reinstall the data thereon. Simply connect to the new box.

Ma

As Vishera already wrote, the warranty expires, logically.

Alternatively, however, you can install games on an external USB hard drive. This can then simply be plugged to the new console.
