Call of duty online ad?

I have set myself to appear offline on Xbox. As soon as I start my Call of Duty I will still be shown as online in the COD menu for my friends. Can I somehow switch this to offline?

No, unfortunately that can't be switched off. This status message does not come from Microsoft but from the game server.

Cod is not the only game where it is.
