Assassins Creed on PC with controller?

I recently started playing through the Assassins Creed series. I played my first two parts on xBox and Ps3. Now I don't have any more at home and wanted to get the rest on Steam. But can you also play it with a controller? (would be a xBox one controller)

Yes it's no problem. Windows 10 + XBox One Controller works.

If you have one with Bluetooth and the PC supports it wirelessly, otherwise with a micro USB cable. Or you can buy the wireless adapter for 30 euro.
