Package acceptance?

Hi, I managed to pre-order the new XBOX Series X thanks to a Microsoft employee, but I had to tell Microsoft that my location was in Poland in order to be able to pay the invoice with PayPal in the Polish Microsoft Store, the delivery address and contact details (Place of residence / name) was completely the same only the country was different. The Microsoft employee said that I can then pick up the package at my post office at the given time and that I can track the delivery on the Internet. I'm currently a bit skeptical and restless because I'm afraid that this might not work, and I have to pay for the Xbox at PayPal with the Polish currency, what do you think can go wrong? Lg Jan

Are you sure this is not a scam?
Unfortunately, it sounds totally fake

Fo

Ne that was the number of Microsoft support that I called, the one we had to order in Poland because it is totally sold out worldwide

Od

If it's sold out worldwide, how can you get it via Poland?

It could be that the employee is the fraudster.

Is the money going directly to Microsoft?

Fo

Yes it works, and it was sold out everywhere except Poland

Od

Well, if the money goes directly to Microsoft, then it seems to be ok

Do you realize that you can only pick up parcels in packing stations if you have the data on your identity card 1: 1? How is that supposed to work? It's either Poland or Germany.

Fo

HI the data is also 1: 1 on my identity card, only the Microsoft Store thinks that I bought the product in Poland because I specified Poland as the location. The information for the delivery address is my German location

Fo

However, I had to tell Microsoft that my location was in Poland in order to be able to pay the invoice with PayPal in the Polish Microsoft Store,

To be honest, that sounds totally weird…

The Microsoft employee said that I can then pick up the package at my post office at the given time

So you gave him the post office address directly? Because without them such a statement is cheese; you can't just pick up something at a post office, only if you have it sent to you directly via the post office, or it will be forwarded there if you are not at home when the messenger has tried to deliver.

No that was the number of Microsoft support I called

For sure? Where did you get this phone number from?
