The Super Mario 3D All Stars Collection has recently been released for Nintendo Switch and I would be interested in which game in this collection you like the most or which game you personally associate with the most.
I don't know super mario sunshine either, and rarely play the other two either😅
Since I already own all the games, I didn't buy the collection. Of the three, I think super mario 64 is the best, simply because it has that unique feeling of nostalgia. I also really like super mario sunshine and galaxy, simply because they do different things than they do classic super marios, like sunshine with the dreckweg 08/17 and sunshine with the planets and the introduction of countless new characters.
Probably because of the nostalgia factor. Younger players who played either of the other two titles first would likely vote accordingly.
But it just remains timeless and was a milestone. Not just for Nintendo itself, but for the entire industry. You read again and again from developers who were significantly inspired by Mario 64.
Yes, I'm not going to buy the collection either because I've played all three games before. And I'm not sure which of the three games I like the most, but I would say Super Mario Galaxy the closest. Super Mario Sunshine is the only game of the three that I never played through to 100%, B. Couldn't find all blue coins. And I also prefer more Super Mario 64 DS over the N64 original. And I also prefer Super Mario Galaxy 2 because of the fun and variety. But Super Mario Galaxy 1 has the better story.
