I already loved Splatoon 2 and hope that a Splatoon 3 will follow. Since the last Splatoon of Splatoon (Limone vs Aioli) shaped the course of Splatoon 2, Splatoon 3 should also be that way. There's definitely enough story material and the fans on YouTube have already provided huge theories and ideas. There are plenty of requests from players like me to improve it. Nintendo should only do the whole thing.

I'm pretty sure that Splatoon 3 is under development and may be released next year. And yes, I wish that too.
I can very well imagine that there will be a Splatoon 3 at some point, probably it will come out for the next Nintendo console, so maybe Switch Pro. I would really only wish that Nintendo would finally offer good servers, because it is very annoying if you constantly fly or lag out of a match just because a teammate has bad Wi-Fi.
