To the Nintendo fans:
What do you think of the just announced Splatoon 3? Do you think it will be released with the "fabled" Switch Pro? And what else can be changed, from Splatoon 1 to Splatoon 2 the changes were rather limited?
Will be an overpriced game again, where Nintendo has to save due to the poor performance of the Switch in terms of graphics and gameplay.
For the fact that Splatoon has actually been almost the same for years, the full price that is charged for it is not appropriate. For 30 euro I would actually buy it, but not like this. The multiplayer is mostly the same (especially the bad servers -.) And only the story mode is different. But you always have it done very quickly, which is why only the online mode remains.
Yes, I actually find the price a bit steep. Even if you consider that Nintendo Switch comes online as well. I've read the bad servers as a point of criticism for years, but I've spent several hundred hours in both part 1 and part 2 and, to be honest, hardly ever had disconnections… I never really understood that people were upset about it. At least no problem with a LAN cable.
As a person who unfortunately has to use WLAN, I see problems with the servers in every game. Even with players who use a LAN cable. If there's only 1 player in the lobby with a bad connection, you can actually forget it - best example: Mario Maker 2. The online rounds are a pure Power Point presentation and disconnections are inevitable. The same thing has happened to me en masse in Splatoon - at least you dropped connections.
Yes, that's right, several have happened to me with Wi-Fi. That is always pushed onto the Nintendo server, so I personally believe that the Nintendo consoles simply integrated a bad WLAN module, because it was the same with the Wii you and with both of them that was history with LAN cables.
Yes, I have that feeling too. Sometimes I have to restart my console because the console doesn't want WLAN anymore or my connection is incredibly bad, although all other devices (smartphone, Xbox, etc.) receive WLAN without any problems
Just. And because Nintendo doesn't install LAN ports for whatever reason, most Nintendo players play via Wi-Fi, and that's where the problem lies.
Just. If they would at least install it in the dock - I mean the part is 95% plastic, you can expand the board a bit and add a simple LAN port, so at least you wouldn't have to constantly adapt!
Yes, the stupid thing is that these LAN adapters are so big at the same time that they no longer fit behind the flap of the dock, but are so stupidly next to it.
I have no experience with it, don't play in the dock that often, which is why I never thought about buying one, but I can imagine how badly such a part fits into the dock at the back ^^
Yes, really extremely bad. For Switch lite owners that must be even more stupid, either they have a stupid connection or they have to buy a USB C to Lan adapter and that is a cumbersome high 20.
Yep, also a disadvantage of the Switch Lite ^^
How much will part 3 cost?
Presumably full price; Say ~ 50-60 euro
