Hmm, you have to understand the "problem" of your parents first, then you can possibly think of something suitable:
If the parents would generally allow an AirTrack (you write that), then there's obviously enough space for the mat and the parents have nothing else to object to.
You don't want to give them both (I can understand them somewhere), the only question is why they don't agree with you, that they give you a Nintendo and you buy the AirTrack yourself. Would they allow you the other way around (they give you AirTrack and you buy the Nintendo)?
