I (17) have been the owner of a New Nintendo 2DS XL (previously DS Lite and 3DS) for a year now with a number of games. I still buy games. However, I have a switch for 9 months and play more on her.
An example:
Last month I bought 5 new 3DS games that I wanted to have for a long time and I also have a lot of others that I want to play through, but still I had the DS in the last 2 months a maximum of 2-3 hours in operation, the Switch, however, significantly more, determined 30 + - a few.
Actually, I'm really attached to the console, which I really enjoyed at the beginning, because I love the games and the design. Nevertheless, I almost never have the motivation to gamble the games since my switch is there.
Of course, my childhood with the DS Lite has a lot of memories of some of the 2ds xl's games, but even if I'm really up for gambling on it, that's over after 30 minutes of playtime and the part is back in the corner.
At 14 I had already a phase in which I gave away my almost 3DS, because I did not like it anymore and I did not play anymore, but after 3 months it was over, so I switched to the 2ds xl at 16. This time it does not seem to be a phase, it's been going on since I've got more games for the switch, so it's been 6 months. Sometimes I think the euphoria is coming back and I like the DS again, but then I play 2 more days again and then it's exactly the same, it's in the corner.
Is it still worth keeping the New 2DS XL under these circumstances, or should I sell it and get me Switch games from the money? What would you do? Please with justification, thanks!
Personally, I'm always attached to my consoles and keep them as long as possible. If you still use the console now and then, I would keep it. But that's how I see it. If you realize that it does not make you happy, and you're not a collector as well, I'd advise you to sell it with the games, so you have more money for your switch.
But I'll save any consoles I have anyway.
Actually I'm not a real collector and almost never pick up things that I do not need anymore. But I'm afraid that I might regret a sale. That's why the question. In addition, one should know that I have borderline, which makes decisions extremely difficult for me and why I constantly need confirmation that my decision is correct.
If you are afraid to regret it, I would not do it. Until you are sure.
Do not sell it. Store it, but take the batteries out first.
I still have the first Gameboy since I had this as a kid. Today I do it sometimes and sometimes play something. The reminiscences are great and otherwise he is in my showcase. Great part:-)
Since you can't take out the battery
When DS? Sure, that's how I mothed mine. Of course you have to unscrew.
No, this is not the 2ds xl, this is the latest modelβ¦
You can unscrew all the Nintendo Consoles. But you do not have to do it if you do not want that. Was just a tip, because batteries are basically nothing but batteries and can also damage the device when they are not used. I would like to argue with you because of something like that.
I see a kindness goal behind your tip π
But I would not take out the battery, so I would not worry now. π―π
I think you answer the question yourself by screaming so much. π
I think you could regret it later that you sold the 3DS. Currently you will not get much for a 3DS / 2DS etc., which is why it does not really make sense from the money side. π€
The 3DS really has a lot of good games (#Kid Icarus: Uprising β₯ οΈ) and even if you have no / little desire to gamble on it, that can change. That was the same with me. π―
Hope I could help you and convince you π
We do not argue π€π
With the model you just can't take out the battery, so how should I do it otherwiseβ¦ π
Yes, I would not do one way or the other π π
