Can I pass on Wi-Fi with hotspot?

I have a question about Wi-Fi Share. Well I want to give my DS Internet connection but I only have a router with security AES. The Nintendo DS only accepts WEP. Since I do not want to change my router security, I exclude this option. DS accepts hotspot.

Here is my real question: Can I use the Internet that I use on my phone as a hotspot on my DS?

Thanks in advance in advance for answers. Have a good time.

Almost all smartphones today offer the ability to share the Internet connection with other devices. This feature is usually called either "hotspot" or "tethering" and can be found in device settings, but this varies from device to device. With the built-in wireless network, you could also connect your DS, provided that you have selected WEP as the encryption standard on your smartphone.

Why do not you try it instead of asking?

If your smartphone dominates Wi-Fi tethering, that works. The only one known to me is the Galaxy S7.

Otherwise, buy an access point that connects via LAN cable with the router to build a second wireless with WEP, if your wireless router can't build a guest network.

Well with Hotspot it uses only my mobile data and unfortunately I have only Bluetooth tethring which the DS does not receive. Nevertheless, thanks for the answer.

Unfortunately, my phone has only Bluetooth tethering which the DS unfortunately does not receive. Would you have any other suggestions?
