3ds not working right?

It's about my Nintendo 3DS. I recently bought a new game and at first I was able to navigate with the sliding pad without any problems, but at some point it started to cause problems. My character in the game became independent without touching the sliding pad or controlling it and it no longer went back to its starting position. I've looked several times on the Internet for solutions but unfortunately couldn't find anything. I hope someone can help me here and I only ask for serious answers.

First try to recalibrate it via the menu item "Pad" in the settings.

If that doesn't help, the pad can be replaced, the spare part is available for 10-20 euro on Ebay.

The pad is only attached to the mainboard and you only need to unscrew the back to reach it, but you have to pull out a relatively small ribbon cable with tweezers and plug it in again.

At least this applies to the electronic component, if the plastic part where you put your finger on it is broken, you may have to take the mainboard out and put it back in afterwards.

But in your case that sounds like a defect in the electronic component.
