I hope so. But it will never happen.

Because GameStar said so.

It was sold, but the 3D feature didn't catch on. Nobody wanted to have it. The 2DS sold the best

I see it as unlikely because the switch fills exactly the same niche. They may continue the switch line and make a larger console. Or, as you know nintendo, something really crazy.

Maybe there will be a New Nintendo 4DS XL.
