Which switch game should I buy (2020)?

I want to play comfortably in bed in the evening, so I ordered a Switch Lite, which should probably arrive next week. I grew up with the different GameBoy consoles and especially the games Pokemon, Fire Emblem, Zelda and Yugioh were loyal companions. I also liked to play RPGs like Harry Potter (at least part 1-2 on GBC and part 3 on GBA). The DS was over and a few years later I lived out my "gamer passion" on the computer.

Now the question arises, which game should I buy? Unfortunately my budget does not currently consist of several games, at least not all at once and "unfortunately" the selection of interesting titles is huge. To be honest, almost everything in the Nintendo Store appeals to me, especially my old beloved companions like Pokemon or Fire Emblem or Zelda -.- ".

I have read dozens of reviews over the past few days, watched gameplay videos and was able to limit the potential candidates a bit. A lot of the games that are in the Nintendo Charts are also available on Steam and I already own a lot. Accordingly, I would rather like console exclusive titles. I will not buy Pokemon sword / shield for the time being because the content currently offered is not enough for me. I'm not a "Shiny Hunter" and not a competitive player. So I wait until December, when both expansions are out, so that I can get most of the time out in one go. Maybe there will be a GOTY Edition or something similar. I won't touch the various Mario games either. I had a lot of fun with Super Mario World back then, but I don't know if I would like a 3D jump and run.

Before I go into the possible titles, I list which Steam games I have played a lot, maybe this will help with the recommendation. Witcher 1-3 (350 hours), Divinity Sin 1 + 2 (150 hours), Slay the Spire (130 hours), TemTem (90 hours), Banner Saga 1 - 3 (70 hours), Frostpunk (60 hours), Life is Strange (35 hours), Hades (30 hours).

Possible switch titles

Fire Emblem Three Houses
Zelda BotW
Astral chain
Animal Crossing: New Horizons

Zelda BotW appeals to me most right now. I only fear that the world may get too boring for me in the long run. Maybe there's a big Witcher fan (like me) who played BotW and can classify the Open World, story and NPC quality? Fire emblem would also appeal to me very much -.-. Especially the "RPG part" in the monastery appeals to me a lot. Is the story and are the tasks in the monastery varied or does it end in annoying tipping? I have never played an Animal Crossing part before, but I'm looking for a game to switch off in the evening, maybe it's the ideal game?

Sorry for the long text, but I'm sooo sure what game to get: /

Animal crossing can be played well in handheld mode, if you haven't played botw then you have to buy it on everyone. Botw is that and remains the best switch game until 2020. But unfortunately it is not quite as relaxed in handheld mode. One per controller is much more pleasant. But animal crossing should be good

Pl

I played The Witcher 3 and Zelda BotW.

Don't worry, BotW has a very big world full of little secrets.

At Witcher, the focus is more often on NPCs and conversations. At Zelda, more on smaller puzzles and hidden shrines. But you won't get bored in either title. BotW is one of the best (if not the best) Zelda title

I would recommend Botw and Animal Crossing. Now it depends on what you prefer, I would never get bored personally because there was always something to discover, little Easter eggs, generally it was a very, very good game.

I was looking for animal crossing at the moment, you just have so many opportunities to build your island, the graphics and the music are also beautiful and perfect for relaxing and switching off, it is a very quiet game.

I don't have a clear favorite, I think both games are mega. Now you have to decide what suits you more
